MICROM International GmbH, HM 350 SV Instrument description Automatic rotary microtome Description and functionality The MICROM HM 350 SV rotary microtome is an instrument that allows the cutting into thin sections (thickness from 0.5 to 100 micrometers) of small plant or animal samples included in resin or paraffin. This microtome is equipped with a direct collection tray for the waste sections, built around the blade holder. In the model HM 350 SV the control panel, located on the left side of the instrument, can be removed and used separately. The control panel shows several parameters which can be adjusted, including the thickness and the cutting speed, the number of sections, the feed speed, the cutting window.
